“I started working as an actor at a very young age. I was 17 when I went to watch a play and I immediately fell in love with the medium, that’s how it started.”
Sumeet Vyas’s breakthrough was when he started working on a Web series, Permanent Roommates (2014-2016). He has worked hard to earn his name and has been striving to provide amazing drama to Indian entertainment.
Vyas was born in a small town Jodhpur, Rajasthan and spent the initial years of his career there before moving to Mumbai. You can see his journey to pursue his passion for acting and writing. His debut was in the Doordarshan serial which was a small role and from there on his career accelerated.
With Lifestyle Asia India, Travel And Leisure India and Volkswagen, he further shared, “I just got fascinated by that medium and I just wanted to be on stage. And do all those things, so then I found my own grove in due course. It took me a few years to understand what kind of performance do I like watching, what kind of performance am I capable of doing and how I am able to bring something to the table that no one else can?”
The actor is also an active supporter of theatre and writing scripts which he worked for “Bang Baja Baaraat” web series, and he claims to enjoy working as a theatre artist.
There were many ups and downs in his career but he is very much strong-minded and does not intend to give up on his career no matter. He strongly states that “I am here for a long hour. So, I am gonna be doing this successfully or unsuccessfully until I physically can. So that’s the journey of it, whatever I imagine, whatever I see or I think, I am gonna do all of this in every take.”
